RaetOS for Claude

Connect RaetOS to Claude to use your recorded career evidence in a conversation, and to save work you just completed for your review.

RaetOS is listed in Claude's connector directory as a Community connector, which Anthropic screens but has not reviewed in depth. A RaetOS account is required: raetos.com.

What it does

  • Finds the roles, accomplishments, skills, education, credentials, ready projects and non-draft career stories you have recorded.
  • Reads your career Profile preferences and the jobs you saved in My Queue.
  • Helps you prepare for a review, a promotion or an interview from your real examples.
  • Saves work you completed in a conversation as one new item with proposed bullets, after you confirm.

Evidence in RaetOS is what you recorded. It is not independently verified, and Claude does not invent records that are missing.

Connect

  1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Find RaetOS and choose Connect.
  3. Sign in to your RaetOS account when asked.
  4. Review the permissions on the RaetOS screen. Selecting Allow access approves the listed permissions together and accepts the Connected Apps Terms.
  5. You return to Claude. Turn RaetOS on for a chat from the Connectors menu.

It works in Claude on the web, in the desktop app, on mobile and in Cowork. Claude Code is not supported yet. Your workplace may limit which connectors Claude can use; if you cannot connect, ask your IT team.

Permissions you approve

The RaetOS screen lists these before anything is shared. You can read every one of them and choose Deny.

Read your career record
Search your saved roles and accomplishments.
Read your Master Resume
Find saved skills, education, credentials, ready projects and non-draft stories.
Read My Queue
View the job postings you have saved, and read one posting's full description.
Read your career Profile
Use your headline, target roles, experience and work preferences. Contact details are excluded.
Capture work for your review
Save a new work item with up to six proposed bullets under a role you choose. You confirm the content before saving. It appears in Needs your input.

Example prompts

Use RaetOS to list my saved career roles.
Use RaetOS to find two recorded accomplishments about reporting. Report missing evidence honestly.
Use RaetOS to read my career Profile and list three saved jobs from My Queue, then summarize the first job's requirements.
I fixed a SQL join and verified the next run. Prepare two bullets for RaetOS, show the role and content, and save only after I confirm.

When you ask Claude to save work, it shows the role and the proposed bullets first. Nothing is saved until you confirm. The saved item appears in Needs your input in RaetOS, with a link back to it.

What it cannot do

  • Edit or delete existing records, or approve resume evidence.
  • Generate application packets or submit applications.
  • Read Profile contact details, salary, Decision Engine results, application packets, Tracker, Network, files, pending imports or drafts.
  • Save anything without your confirmation of the exact role and content.

For those, open RaetOS. Text inside your records and saved job postings is treated as data, never as instructions.

Troubleshooting

Claude says RaetOS is not connected
The connection has dropped or was revoked. Reconnect RaetOS from Customize, then Connectors, and approve the permissions again.
Claude says the work is already saved
Saving the same approved content twice is blocked, so a retry cannot create a duplicate. Open Needs your input in RaetOS to find the item.
A saved capture is not on my resume
A capture is a project with proposed notes in Needs your input. It becomes resume evidence only after you review and approve it in RaetOS.
Claude found fewer records than I expected
Search matches the words you give it. Ask Claude to search with a different term, for example another name for the same work.
I disconnected in Claude but RaetOS still shows access
Disconnecting in Claude may not notify RaetOS. Revoke it in RaetOS under Settings, then Connected apps.
It does not work in Claude Code
Claude Code is not supported yet. Use Claude on the web, in the desktop app, on mobile or in Cowork.

Disconnect

In RaetOS, open Settings, then Connected apps, and disconnect Claude. This revokes its access. Also remove the connector in Claude. Disconnecting does not delete work you already saved, and it does not erase information already shared in earlier Claude conversations.

Privacy and support

Information RaetOS returns to Claude is shared with Anthropic and handled under Anthropic's terms and privacy policy. Permitted free text can contain personal information, so share only facts you are entitled to disclose, never secrets or a full chat transcript. A save stores the content you confirmed, not a copy of the conversation.
